Introduced in 1945, the Rolex Datejust established the date-at-3-o’clock format that became one of the collection’s defining signatures, with the Jubilee bracelet created for the original model. This 2023 Datejust 36 belongs to the modern ref. 126234 generation and is distinguished by Rolex’s blue fluted-motif dial with diamond hour markers. The fluted-motif family debuted in 2021 and was discontinued in 2024, giving this distinctive dial a notably short production window. While not formally designated by Rolex as a limited edition, it represents a much shorter-lived configuration than many traditional Datejust dials.

This ref. 126234 uses a 36mm White Rolesor case, combining Oystersteel with an 18 ct white-gold fluted bezel, along with a five-piece Jubilee bracelet. The blue fluted-motif dial is set with diamond hour markers and pairs with a sapphire crystal and Cyclops magnifier over the date at 3 o’clock. Inside is Rolex calibre 3235, a self-winding movement with an approximately 70-hour power reserve. This 2023 example comes as a full set with box and papers, and the bracelet is currently sized to fit approximately a 7.5 to 7.75-inch wrist.

The watch is in overall nice condition and presents well, with signs of wear consistent with prior use visible upon close inspection. It has been polished.
